HealthLogic’s Business Office Services (HLBOS) has proven to be an important addition to Business Office
operations. Julie Vossler, Queen of the Valley, Director of Business Office Services and Patient Access
quantifies this. "QVH uses HLBOS to collect secondary after Medicare has paid. Our benefit
is realized by allowing our collectors to concentrate their efforts on our high dollar PPO/HMO, third party
accounts. HLBOS is an important extension of our business office, extending collections to those accounts, which
in many cases our staff could not get to. HLBOS collection percentage is currently at 84%, which is a higher
percentage than we alone could collect."
